“I contacted Robin to do a surprise engagement shoot. Within a week she took the time to personally meet me before hand so we could plan how the shoot should go. She recommended shooting locations that were beautiful, private, and secluded which was very important to me. Once we arrived to Vermillion lakes she did such an amazing job at sticking to the plan and making me and my girl friend feel comfortable. Once it came time to the “moment” Robin snuck away into nearby bushes to capture it, this was nice as it gave me and Brie some privacy and we were able to have that moment to ourselves. After the engagement we took more pictures at the Vermillion lakes then we went to Mt. Norquay for more pictures. It was so easy to be ourselves around Robin and it really showed in the pictures. Robin was able to send us a couple of edited pictures of the engagement on the night of! This was amazing as we instantly were able to see that special moment and we got to share this with friends and family. The next day we received the remaining pictures and we were blown away with how amazing the pictures were. We were actually their first wedding; I was hesitant at first but after I saw the way they did our engagement photos I was hooked! Even when it poured (a bride’s worst nightmare) Carmen and Robin were able to quickly change the plan and take some amazing photos indoor and even in the rain! My family and I were traveling to Banff for the holidays and wanted family photos/my baby pictures and toddler milestone pictures. Robin was quick with her responses and kept in touch throughout the process. She was very accommodating with photographing times (worked around baby’s nap times), as well as keeping the location distances between photographs very close (5 minute drive between landmarks). I highly recommend her! She made us feel comfortable while taking our pictures, as they came out beautifully. Her turn around time is quick and we actually got them back before we traveled back home. I had been following Robin on her Instagram page and I loved her landscape pictures. Nevertheless she was the first photographer that came to my mind when we wanted to shoot our maternity and newborn pictures. Robin was quick to respond with the dates and since she was great at landscape photography she knew the best places for outdoor pictures for the kind of pictures that we wanted. She also gave us the pictures edited with the same aesthetic that we wanted as we wanted them to go with our home decor. She was also quick in getting us the final pictures within days of the photoshoot. As with the newborn shoot, she exceeded our expectations with the pictures again and we couldn’t be happier. We will be getting our annual portraits done with Robin here on.
